What are Resale Rights Products

Resale Rights Products are a fantastic way to start making money on line.
Many people have made money on the Internet with eBay being increasingly popular. It’s very easy to go in to your garage or attic and find some of your old “Junk” to find that it can fetch more than you ever thought it would using eBay.
But what do you do when the garage is clear but the bug for making an online income still runs strong inside you?
You need a product to sell!
There are a few options you can choose, some people choose to buy wholesale or bulk buying from abroad and split it down and sell. I know people that buy in bulk from China, they concentrate on things like iPhone accessories and cases. The downside is you have to pay out up front a lot of money to get the products and then if they don’t sell or stop selling you are left with a lot of stock (and dead money). Also space might be an issue, you have to hold them somewhere, split and pack them and then ship them to the customer when they purchase from you. The markup isn’t always that great either so you have to sell a hell of lot of products to make any kind of decent money.
Another option is drop shipping. This is where you promote and sell a companies physical products. When the customer purchases a product, you pass on the wholesale money and the delivery address to the company and they ship the goods direct to the customer and you keep the different between the wholesale value and the retail value. Sounds perfect in theory but I found it very difficult to find products with enough margin in them to make this a feasible business venture for myself personally.
So
What are Resale Rights Products?

Resale Rights Products
are products that people have created which include licence to sell on to others and keep 100% of the profits!
These types of products are usually digital too, which means that you have no stock and shipping to worry about. Resale rights products could be eBooks, eAudio or Software. These are all downloadable products which means on completion of payment the customer is automatically directed to the download page.
Merchants like PayPal make it very easy for even a newbie to setup a PayNow button on a website that on completion of payment will redirect to the download page.
Another great point with Resale Rights Products are that the creator usually produces a sales letter website and includes it in the package, saving you even more work. You can simply put your own name on the sales letter and upload it to the Internet and you are away!
There are more than one type of Resale Rights Licence so I’ll break them down and explain them now.
The most basic is Resale Rights. This is where the author sells you a product and also passes on to you the licence to resell it. You can then sell the item over and over again and keep 100% of the profits. With a Resale Rights Licence you cannot pass on the right to sell to your customers.
Master Resale Rights licence is just like Resale Rights however this does allow you to sell the product including the right for them to sell it too. I should point out that with both Resale Rights and Master Resale Rights products you cannot make any changes to the product and must sell it on exactly as you bought it keeping the author and any website links in the product in tact.
Private Label Rights Products is more flexible still and with this type of licence you can do anything to the product. You can add bits, take away bits and even rebrand the product as if it was your own.
So why do people create such products?
Well in the first instance the author or creator can make money on the copies he or she sells.
After the author or creator has exhausted selling the product, he or she continues to get exposure on the web and in turn traffic to his or her websites where there could be more products or services being sold. Having others promote your product is not to be underestimated. It can increase your online presence greatly!
